On October 12th, this year’s endorsement of the German ski team took place in a slightly different setting due to COVID-19. Under strict hygiene requirements and only with prior appointments, it was ensured that all athletes of the team received their racing suits and the new styles of the team collection. Top skiers Thomas Dreßen, Josef Ferstl and the whole team were excited about the new design in black, white and gray with neon yellow accents of the high-quality styles. The custom-made racing suits with the iconic BOGNER Flames didn’t disappoint either.
On January 26th-29th 2020 the highlights for the upcoming winter of BOGNER Sport and FIRE+ICE were presented at ISPO, the world’s largest trade fair for sports business.
The BOGNER booth, framed by slightly transparent fabric and divided into two areas for BOGNER and FIRE+ICE, provided the perfect stage for all key pieces.
On Monday afternoon BOGNER invited the cooperation partner St. Moritz, best customers, press and athletes to celebrate winter 2020 with some delicacies from the Engadin valley and music by three alphorn players.

To celebrate the launch of the Fall/Winter 2019 campaign, Mytheresa and Bogner have collaborated on an exclusive sports fashion film presenting the latest collection and paying tribute to Willy Bogner, who directed and shot similar film sequences in the past.

BOGNER celebrates 30 years of FIRE+ICE in New York

On Thursday evening, New York‘s fashion crowd arrived dressed and ready to celebrate the 30 years anniversary of BOGNER’s FIRE+ICE collection at the New York Flagship store in Soho. Style insiders, friends and special guests like freeskier Sierra Quitiquit and Paralympic medalist Chris Waddell were drawn into the spirit of the upcoming season on the slopes as the legendary footage from Willy Bogner‘s retro “Fire+Ice” film streamed on screens throughout the store. Guests mingled around an authentic ice bar sipping signature “Fire” and “Ice” cocktails and browsed through the latest collections as celebrity DJ Alexandra Richards delivered an energetic soundtrack.

After a ski accident paralyzed him from the waist down, Chris Waddell became the fastest monoskier in the world, winning 12 Paralympic medals in alpine skiing and one in track and field. Giving up was never an option. In 2009, he summited Mt Kilimanjaro, the first “nearly unassisted” paraplegic to do so, a feat, which created his platform to transform the perception of people with disabilities. As the founder of the One Revolution Foundation Chris embarked on a personal journey to share his story as a speaker, writer and television host.

The Munich-based fashion business Willy Bogner GmbH & Co. KGaA and the long-established German company MENRAD the vision will be joining forces.
With this partnership, Bogner is expanding its successful licensing business and the associated lifestyle world – the brand has already awarded licences to international key players for, amongst other things, shoes, bags, ski equipment, gloves and guest amenities. The Bogner apparel and licensing collections are currently distributed in over 50 countries and by more than 6,500 specialist retail partners, own-brand stores, partner stores and shops-in-shops. The new Bogner eyewear collection comprises sunglasses as well as frames for corrective glasses, for both women and men. The new line will be introduced in the summer of 2019 before becoming available worldwide in selected department stores, specialised retail locations, Bogner stores and online at bogner.com.

On the evening of Monday, 14 January 2019 at 9:00 p.m. the Munich-based fashion business Bogner opened the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Berlin’s E-Werk, a former industrial structure, with the motto “Alpine Clubbing”. Andreas Baumgärtner, responsible for the Autumn/Winter collection 19/20 in his function as CEO, presented more than 30 national and international models in the new down look with knee-high silvery moon boots and large fur hats. The Berlin fashion audience was visibly excited. In the audience were guests like Berlin’s mayor Michael Müller, editor-in-chief and fashion grande dame Christiane Arp, mover and shaker of the Berlin fashion scene Anita Tillmann, as well as TW editor-in-chief Michael Werner with colleague Silke Emig. Also in attendance were national and international buyers – from Loden Frey and KaDeWe to Galeries Lafayette and Stylebop, as well as bloggers and influencers like Nina Suess and Aylin König.
Opening FIRE+ICE Store

At the end of October, just in time for the start of the ski world cup, BOGNER opened its first FIRE + ICE store in Sölden, together with the sports retailer ‘Sport4You’. As well as countless other sports lovers, BOGNER ambassador Viktoria Rebensburg and the former French runner Luc Alphand were among the guests. Offering around 110 square metres of shopping space, the store will house and sell the full FIRE + ICE collection.

On 24 October 2018, BOGNER showed the new Spring/Summer 2019 collections in its own store on Residenzstraße as part of the Munich fashion press dates. The highlights of the collections were presented together with the Linzenzen shoes and bags & belts. The new styles will be available from February 2019 in all stores as well as on bogner.com.
Bogner Store Event, October 2018
At the beginning of October, BOGNER surprised its customers with a very special campaign. The flagship store in Munich, in prime position opposite the Bavarian State Opera, was completely modernised and redesigned as part of an art project by the company Holzrausch with the design office Heinzelmann Ayadi (OHA) and the lacquer artist Walter Maurer. The redesign was celebrated across four floors, together with countless guests, BOGNER friends and VIPs.

This year, BOGNER was once again one of the main sponsors of the yearly ‘Madlwiesn’ in the Schützen-Festzelt, which brings together 120 bright young women for one wild Oktoberfest night. Since company owner Willy Bogner worked his daredevil magic with a camera to capture spectacular scenes for no less than four 007 films, this year BOGNER and Bond are teaming up again. The long-established Munich company has provided the Sölden Elements Museum (made famous by ‘Spectre’) with a line of ski & lifestyle outfits, including new styles as well as original classics from the past Bond films.
